We Been Ready. Are You? Dinner conversation about Standing Up for Justice & Equity before, during, and after political elections. Curated by Aisha F. Truss-Miller
The purpose is to listen to ways people of color have been building movements to advance equity, the challenges faced while navigating the trauma and systematic racism, patriarchy, and classism, and how it plays out with “progressives” and those with the privilege to ignore injustice.
The goals are to remember and highlight past and existing work and to explore how everyday can stand up for justice and equity within themselves and their communities, and on institutional levels.
We will invite you to build your own Salad/ Sandwich.
